Statistics Canada and Visit Florida shared some very good news for our state and country, despite the continuation of tariffs, trade wars and words. 
 
The good for vacation rental owners, homeowners thinking of selling and overall lodging: August visitations were up 8.8% year over year, the fifth consecutive month of positive numbers from our northern allies and friends.

At the same time, the United States and Florida still have a long road back to November, 2024 levels — with Canadian travel still down almost 28% just two years ago. 
 
What happens in the next few months or years is anyone's guess, but here's our hope: please come back, Canada, you're most welcome here — whether you're visiting a couple weeks or staying a lifetime.
